Straight Talk Promo Code and Review

Straight Talk Wireless is a no contract cellular phone provider brought to you by TracFone Wireless. While many of the old fashioned wireless providers lock you in to a long term contract at an expensive monthly rate and make you pay to get out of it, Straight Talk let’s you decide when you want to change your plan, get a new phone or add another line whenever it works for you.

How Does Straight Talk Work?

woman looking at her cell phoneThe process of getting a cell phone used to be a hassle. You would have to wait around at the crowded wireless store, decide which phone you wanted, get a credit check, fill out a contract, sign a bunch of paper work, etc, etc etc.

Well no more with Straight Talk Wireless. With Straight Talk you can get started with your brand new wireless phone with three simple steps…

First choose one of the available phones either online at or in store. We listed a few of the phones available at the time of this writing below but be sure to check availability in your local area.

Next, you need to decide whether you want to keep your existing number (if you have one) or get a brand new number. If you like your old number you can switch it over to Straight Talk no matter who your old wireless provider was with the new phone number portability laws, but you don’t have to if you want a new one.

Lastly you just need to log on to and activate your phone. If you don’t have internet access or just prefer to do things over the phone you can call 1-877-430-CELL (2355) to set up your plan.

That’s it! Now all you need to do is go enjoy your new phone and laugh at all of your friends who are locked in to long term wireless contracts and are paying way too much. Be nice to them and take them out to lunch with your newfound wealth… either that or go buy yourself something really nice… it’s up to you.

Straight Talk Wireless Plans

Straight Talk offers a few wireless plans with no annual contract for you to choose from, all specially designed to help save you money.

phone operator ready to help youThe All You Need Plan – The “All You Need Plan” is the more basic of the plans, costing only $30 per month. With this plan you receive 1000 talk minutes, 1000 text or multimedia messages and 30MB of data to be used on the phone throughout the month. You can also place 411 calls for free.

The Ulimited Plan – The Unlimited plan might be the choice for all of you power users. With this plan you get unlimited nationwide talk, unlimited text and unlimited data… simple as that. This plan costs $45 per month, so if you think you might go over your minutes every month on the basic plan, you might want to spend the extra $15 to make sure that you’re covered.

The Unlimited International Plan – If you’re looking to place calls internationally you might want to go with the Unlimited International plan for just $60 per month. This plan gives you unlimited nationwide minutes, unlimited texting and data to over 1,000 destinations. There are some restrictions to this plan (like only 400 minutes to cell phones in Mexico for example) so if this plan sounds like it might be for you, make sure you check to be certain your calls are included.
