28 years at Warren Central High School, Athletic Director Todd Steward is retiring

“I have been thinking about this for a while. Main factor is that this will be a transitional summer and fall for my family. My oldest son will be returning from a 9-month deployment from overseas and my youngest son headed to college. I want to spend some time with them and cut back on these 12-14 hour days,” said Steward.

He also went over to girl’s basketball in 1994 and was head coach for 14 years, with 4 district championships. He even coached track for a couple of years after resigning from softball.

In 2008, Steward took over AD and Student Assistance Coordinator. During that time, Steward has hired Mike Rogers (FB) William Unseld (B BKB) Chris Stunson (G BKB and Track), Danny Thomas (baseball) and William Spalding (Girls soccer) all successful coaches.
