The Allen County-Scottsville High School Athletic Department has selected a second group of
Student-Athletes of the Month in the 2020-21 school year. October’s student-athletes are Chloe
Cook, Aly Miller, Dillon Rookstool, and J.C. Sikes.
Chloe Cook has played volleyball for the Lady Patriots since middle school. This October, the
junior helped lead AC-S to a fourth consecutive District 15 tournament title. Cook earned All-
District Season, All-District Tournament, and All-Region Tournament honors and finished the year
with 97 kills, 150 assists, 200 digs, and 34 service aces. Cook is the daughter of Randy and Melissa
Cook.
Aly Miller is a five-year member of the Lady Patriot golf team. This season, Miller’s consistent
play paced the AC-S golf team both in tournament and match play. In the Region 3 tournament at
the Franklin Country Club, Miller shot a 101 to lead her teammates. Additional season highlights
included a team best round of 46 in a nine-hold match against Bowling Green and a 50 in action
against Hart County and Warren East. Miller is the daughter of Billy Joe and Cheryl Miller.
Dillon Rookstool is a senior leader for the Patriot football team. The four-year varsity member has
helped the Patriots to district wins over Franklin-Simpson, Warren East, and Warren Central.
Rookstool has rushed for 267 yards and scored three touchdowns. Defensively, Rookstool has been
in on 44 tackles. He is the son of Kathy Rookstool and Dennis Rookstool.
J.C. Sikes has been a member of the Patriot golf team for three years. This year, Sikes just missed
qualifying for the KHSAA state golf tournament. In the Region 3 tournament in late September,
Sikes carded a round of 80 earning him 11th overall in the tournament and a spot in a four-player
playoff for the final state tournament qualifying slot. His outstanding day capped a golf season in
which the junior dropped his overall scoring average and helped establish the Patriot golf team as a
contender for regional honors next year. Sikes is the son of Tyler and Stephanie Sikes.
AC-S student-athletes are nominated for Athlete of the Month recognition by their coaches and
honored by AC-S athletic director Kerry Harwood.
