         Outlook: The Trojanettes are 4-1 despite playing a tough schedule that included games with Bowling Green, perennial state power Elizabethtown, and Russell County. Macy Lockhart is leading the way at 13 points per game, while Raven Ennis is averaging 12.2 points and 5.4 rebounds. Home games with Hart County and Logan County will setup a district battle with Monroe County in Tompkinsville on Friday.

2. Bowling Green                        3-3                      1      

   Outlook: Bowling Green went 2-1 in Week 2 with wins over Warren East and Webster County, with a loss to Henderson County. LynKaylah James has started the seasons strong averaging 18.8 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. The Lady Purples host South Warren on Tuesday before inviting Sacred Heart on Friday and traveling to Warren Central on Saturday.

3. Russell County                        3-2                      3      

         Outlook: The Lady Lakers nearly propelled up to #2 in our power rankings after almost toppling Barren County last week. Senior guard Julia Bault is averaging 13.4 points per game to lead the charge. Russell County travels to Cumberland County tonight for a district matchup before games with Somerset and Casey County this weekend.

4. Warren Central                      1-0                      5

         Outlook: The Lady Dragons had four-consecutive games canceled but finally took the floor on Saturday against Franklin-Simpson. Coach Anthony Hickey’s club came out victorious, 46-40, behind 13 points by La Auhnni Lewis and 11 points by newcomer Saniyah Shelton. Now that the squad is cleared to play, they’ll hit the court three times in Week 3 – all at home. Friday and Saturday will bring Greenwood and Bowling Green to Dragon Gym.

5. Greenwood                              2-1                      7      

         Outlook: Greenwood had three games canceled in Week 2 due to COVID-19. Jacqueline Jackson has had a strong return to the hardwood after missing her junior season with injury, averaging 21.3 points per game on 40.6% shooting. The Lady Gators will travel to #4 Warren Central on Friday before heading to Logan County on Saturday.

6. Metcalfe County                     3-2                      8      

         Outlook: Metcalfe County picked up big region wins over Russellville and Glasgow, the win over the Lady Scotties in 4OT in the 4th Region All “A” Classic. Jaycie Harper is leading the club at 13.8 points per game, while Anna Blythe is scoring 13.5 points and a team-leading 7.5 rebounds per contest. The Lady Hornets travel to Brownsville for a road tilt with Edmonson County before playing the winner of Clinton County and Monroe County on Saturday in the All “A” Classic championship game.

7. Glasgow                                   3-2                      6

         Outlook: Glasgow knocked out Russellville before losing to Metcalfe County in 4OT on Wednesday. The Lady Scotties beat Warren East on Saturday to improve to 3-2. Coach Craig Pippen’s club has played five games – all within six points of each other. Anzley Adwell averaged 17.4 points and 10.2 rebounds per contest. The team has no scheduled games until next Tuesday at Monroe County.

8. Warren East                            0-2                      4

         Outlook: Warren East played two games with top ten teams – Bowling Green and Glasgow – losing both of them. Lucy Patterson is averaging 22.5 points per game, while Caroline Forrester is averaging 13.5 rebounds per contest. A road game at Ohio County is scheduled on Tuesday before a Friday home game with South Warren.

9. Russellville                              3-2                      9      

         Outlook: Russellville went 1-1 last week with a loss against Glasgow in the All “A” Classic and a district victory over the Rebels of Todd County Central. Amiyah Collier leads the team in scoring at 14.4 points per game, while Anastasia Dowlen is scoring 13.2 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest. Road games are on the docket for the week with trips scheduled for Tompkinsville and Franklin.

10. Monroe County                     3-1                      —     

         Outlook: Monroe County went 2-0 in Week 2 as Todd County Central and Edmonson County fell to the Lady Falcons. Ella Massingille and Paisley Ford are leading the team in scoring at 11.5 points and 10.2 points per game. A Thursday meeting in the All “A” Classic semifinals with Clinton County is scheduled, as are home games with Russellville and Barren County.
