         Outlook: The Trojanettes went 2-1 last week, defeating Hart County and Logan County before dropping a game to Breckinridge County. Coach Piper Lindsey’s club has gone 3-1 since losing sophomore Macy Lockhart to a torn ACL. Raven Ennis has led the club with 16.2 points per game. Barren plays three games this week – out-of-region dates with Pulaski County and Casey County preclude a district matchup with Glasgow.

2. Bowling Green                        3-3                      2      

         Outlook: The Lady Purples have been on COVID-19 pause having four-consecutive games postponed and six out of their scheduled seven contests. Home dates with Warren East and Elizabethtown await coach Calvin Head and company this week.

3, Warren Central                      2-0                      4

         Outlook: The Lady Dragons have struggled to schedule games thus far, having seven of nine games canceled. The team is set to play three games this week, including two district games. Home matches with Warren East and South Warren await Central before a road trip to Edmonson County on Saturday.

4. Greenwood                              3-1                      5      

         Outlook: The Lady Gators won their only game played in two weeks, a 53-44 victory over the Lady Cougars of Logan County. A Tuesday game with Bowling Green has been canceled; however, coach Zach Simpson and company have scheduled South Warren in its place. The club will then host Ohio County on Saturday afternoon at 5:30pm.

5. Russell County                        4-4                      3      

         Outlook: The Lady Lakers dropped to fifth in the polls after dropping games against Mercer County and Casey County. The squad did start the week with a 45-34 victory over district foe Cumberland County. Juliah Bault continues to lead the way for Russell County at 13 points per game, while Star Marcum is averaging 11.8 points per contest. Coach Brett Blankenship’s club will look to get four games in this week – a road tilt in Danville, followed by a home game with Southwestern before ending with two games against Marshall County and Butler County as part of the Russellville Food Bank Classic.

6. Metcalfe County                     5-2                      6      

         Outlook: Metcalfe County stayed at sixth in our rankings despite winning both of its games last week. A 69-60 win at Edmonson County paved the way for a 43-48 victory over Clinton County in the All “A” Region Finals on Saturday. Anna Blythe scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the win over the Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Hornets will play Clinton County again on Thursday night in a district meeting before traveling to Casey County on Saturday evening.

7. Glasgow                                   3-2                      7

         Outlook: Glasgow has not played in nearly ten days, last defeating Warren East on January 16. District matchups with Monroe County (away) and Barren County (home) await Craig Pippen and the Lady Scotties.

8. Monroe County                      4-2                      10    

         Outlook: Monroe County propels up to #8 in these power rankings after winning a home game against Russellville. Coach Clifton Hamilton’s club dropped a game with Clinton County on Thursday as well. Paisley Ford led the Lady Falcons with 14 points and 6 rebounds in the victory over the Lady Panthers. Two district games with Glasgow and Allen County-Scottsville are on the schedule for Monroe County, followed by a road game with Adair County.

9. Franklin-Simpson                   3-2                      —

         Outlook: The Lady Wildcats got a district win over Russellville on Friday night to improve to 3-2 and enter the power rankings for the first time this season. Kate Norwood knocked down five three-pointers en route to a 24 point-performance against the Lady Panthers. Ashanti Johnson grabbed 14 rebounds in the victory. Coach Ashley Taylor’s club will travel to Allen County-Scottsville on Tuesday evening before playing at Todd County Central on Friday night in a district game.

10. Clinton County                               3-3                      —     

         Outlook: Clinton County defeated #8 Monroe County before dropping a game at Metcalfe County as part of the All “A” Classic for the 4th Region. Braylee Mann leads the team with 14.5 points per game while Landree Moons is scoring 10.3 points per contest. Mann leads the team in rebounding as well at 5.2 per game. Coach Ansley Nelson’s club will look to get in four games this week, all at home. Tuesday the Lady Bulldogs will host Logan County, followed by a Thursday district meeting with Metcalfe County, a Saturday afternoon meeting with Pineville, and a Sunday afternoon game with Pickett County out of Tennessee.
