At this point in the season, it’s very simple: SURVIVE and ADVANCE as the playoffs have begin for Derby City.
The Dynamite have looked overpowering all season long and had another great showing tonight at Woehrle Athletic Center in Indiana as the Defense and the Running game were key in a 28-9 win over Music City in the first round of the playoffs.
The Mizfits got on the board first taking advantage of a Dynamite turnover setting up a field goal and a 3-0 lead, but Derby City came right back getting a score leading 8-3 at the half.
The Dynamite got a turnover of their own recovering a Mizfits fumble on their first possession of the second half and added on to their lead to make it 20-3 after three quarters and a final score made it 28-3.
The Mizfits’s only touchdown came after recovering a fumble late in the game and pushing one across to make it 28-9.
