Jamison Glass, Todd County Central Junior
Named the Sporting Times’ 13th District Player of the Year, Glass led the Rebels to their first district championship since 2018. The junior averaged 18.7 points per game on a team-best 63.2% shooting. He also led the 13th District in rebounding at 8.8 per game. In the district semifinals, Glass scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 63-41 win over Russellville.
Jalen Briscoe, Franklin-Simpson Senior
Jalen Briscoe led the Wildcats in both scoring (16.8) and rebounding (7.0) as Franklin won the regular-season district championship and finished the year with a 17-11 record. The definition of consistency, Briscoe ended his career with 13 straight games scoring in double figures, including a 30-piece as his team defeated Todd County Central 74-62 at the end of January.
Trayvon Foster, Todd County Central Junior
Foster finished second on the team in scoring at 12.6 points per game. The junior shot 42% from the field and hit 47 three-pointers for the district champions. In a late-season victory over Trinity Whitesville, Foster scored 21 points as the Rebels won 74-66.
DeMarcus Hogan, Franklin-Simpson Senior
Hogan capped off his Franklin-Simpson career ensuring the Wildcats reached an eighth-straight region tournament. The senior scored 14.6 points per game on 45% shooting and hit 44 three-pointers. In a mid-season win over Todd County Central, Hogan scored 25 points on 10-of-16 shooting.
Eli McMurry, Russellville Junior
Eli McMurry led the Panthers in scoring at 10.7 points per game, three-point field goals made with 35, and in free throw percentage (71%). The junior guard was also Russellville’s second-leading rebounder at 4.2 per game.
Preston Rager, Todd County Central Senior
One of only two seniors on the Todd County Central roster, Preston Rager averaged 12.1 points per game and was second in the 13th District with 63 three-pointers made. As the Rebels won their first district title in five seasons, Rager led the way with 21 points and went 12-of-14 from the free throw line.
