2024 Record – 11-3
Head Coach – Dale Estes
2024: In his 13th season as Campbellsville football coach, Dale Estes put together a team which made their deepest run at a Class 1-A State Title as they reached Final Four of the KHSAA State Footall Tournament, but a loss to eventual state champ Sayre ended their dreams. Still, Estes will have a very deep and talented team returning with plenty of experience for another run at a trip to Lexington this season.

Offense: The Offense scored 489-points in 14-games and running is something the Eagles do very well and this season should put together even better numbers. Top backs Kace Eastrdridge (1,346-yds 21-TDS) and Gabriel Noyola (886-yds 10-TDS) are back and there is plenty of depth at that position with Eastridge also doing double duty under center where he passed for 1,990-yds and 17-TDs. Cross Watson (27-catches for 337-yds 4-TDS) and LaDaimen Smith (22-catches 317-yds and 3-TDS) will be back as the Eagles can score points with a pinball machine offense. The Offensive Line is also strong and returning everyone with center Elijah Spurling, Bryson Turpin, Wallace Smith, Cody Tamez and Channing Tungate. Three seniors and two juniors control the line.

Kicking: Kade Somerville should also be back to do the kicking duties as he was 17-29 PATS.
Defense: The Defense allowed just 172-points in 14-games which was actually pretty good producing four shutouts and only six games with double digit point totals in 14-games and Estes also returns a lot of the defense as well. The DL has Christian Hart, Damarius Goodine, Keke Miller, Julian Smith, Devin Sanders and Bryson Turpin so the line has depth as well. Linebackers Cole Kessler and Cross Watson will hold down the second line, while the secondary will have Braylon Beard, Kade Somerville, Les Colvin, Gabriel Noyola and Garrett McFadden to a defense which intercepted 12-passes.

Summation: After a 3-3 Covid season, the Eagles have gotten better every year and have made an even deeper run in the State Tournament. With everyone back, it will be fun to watch this Eagle team and just how much better they are in 2025.
