Purples roll past Hickman to Open Holiday Tourney

_MG_4018Purples began their holiday season taking on Hickman County in Paducah.  The Falcons were coming off a loss earlier in the day to Caldwell County, and the Purples took advantage of tired legs to jump out to a quick lead.  Joe Ayers scored 8 points in the first quarter as the Purples focused their attack around the rim.  Clay Stivers scored 10 in the second quarter to keep momentum for the Purples.  Hickman County was never able to close in the gap, as Logan Riehn scored 11 for Bowling Green in the second half, and the Purples won big 66-31.  They will take on Caldwell County later on today, and we’ll have the game for you on PurplesNation.com!
