Lady Gators Rally to Win 45th Straight Game

Defense2Greenwood rallied from a 3-0 deficit to score 2 runs in the sixth and 3 in the 7th to defeat Apollo.

 Apollo scored two runs in the third and one in the fourth.
 In the 6th, eighth grade DP Kaitlyn Bowling delivered a two run single to score Alexis Dean and Paige Coles.
In the seventh, after back to back walks to Aeron Smith and Dean, Coles singled in Smith and then senior Aly Parsons hit a 2 RBI triple to put the Lady Gators in the lead.
Senior pitcher Chelsea Kirby, who came in to relieve freshman starter GraceAnn Rimel in the 5th inning picked up the win, allowing just one hit.
