BG Hornets Make 4th Qtr Run, but Fall Short against Chattanooga

_MG_6888The BG Hornets hit the road on a Sunday afternoon to christen a brand new squad to the CBA, the Chattanooga Rail Runners.  After playing a tough game last night and making the three hour trip to Rossville, Georgia, the Hornets came out a little slow in the first, trailing 10-18.  The Rail Runners kept control in the second quarter, extending their lead to 33-44 at the half.  But the third quarter is where things started to go south for BG, as the Rail Runners outscored the Hornets by 13, and lead by 24 heading into the fourth quarter.  The Hornets started off the final period with a 12 point run, and eventually drew the game back within single digits.  But it was too little, too late as the Hornets fell on the road by a final score of 103-96.  Kalen Kimberland led the Hornets with 18 points in the loss.

The Hornets are back in action next Saturday, as we head to Nashville for a rematch with the Middle Tennessee Storm!  Catch all the action right here on BGHornets.com!
