Greenwood High School — Volleyball (Libero)

Blair Alexander has distinguished herself as one of Greenwood High School’s truly multidimensional student‐athletes. As the 2025-26 Toyota Scholar Athlete, Blair brings together athletic excellence, academic dedication, and leadership in the community.

Athletic Excellence

From the moment she joined the Gators’ volleyball program in her freshman year, Blair committed herself fully to the role of libero—a position that demands agility, awareness, and reliability.

In her time on the court, Blair has recorded over 500 digs, showcasing her consistency and impact as a defensive anchor.

Her position demands both skill and savvy: reading hitters, controlling the back row, and setting the tone for the team’s defensive identity. As her coaches attest, Blair is “an awesome leader” of the varsity squad both on and off the court.

Academic Achievement & Leadership

Blair couples her athletic contributions with strong academic performance—maintaining a 4.2 GPA, and earning membership in the National Honor Society.

Her plans for beyond high school reflect both her intellect and passion: she intends to attend WKU (Western Kentucky University) and pursue a degree in Speech and Language Pathology, illustrating a commitment to helping others and a dedication to lifelong learning.

About Toyota Scholar Athlete

During the sports season, student-athletes are recognized as outstanding Scholar-Athletes and are awarded a one-time $500 scholarship courtesy of Toyota of Bowling Green & Toyota of Gallatin.
