The Dragons and Purples rematch…well, it had all the energy and atmosphere we all expected. 11-10 Bowling Green after one, tons of defense and a tightly officiated game the reasons for that. At the half, Warren Central, led by 8 from Chris Porter-Bunton and six from Robert Edwards, held a four point lead.
Central opened up 1-7 from the line but Chris Porter-Bunton made four in a row to end the half and was incredible from the line in the second…he finished with 22 and was named TFC and GoDragonNation.com Player of the Game as he was truly the difference in the contest.
Eight Dragons scored and Coach Unseld said after the game his team had played four games in six days and took Wednesday off after the close one at South Warren and they were fresh and ready. They’re 16-4, undefeated at 8-0 in the region and 6-0 in the district. Up next, Christian County and a visit from Warren East.
Chris Porter-Bunton – 22 (TFC)
Robert Edwards – 8
Wayne Baird – 6
Byron Carver – 5
