The Dragons found themselves in foul trouble early and as a result only led it by five after the first period. The second period was highly different though. At the half, what was a 25-20 game became a 54-34 domination. Chris Porter-Bunton had 14 and, Byron Carver had 12, and Jared Savage had 11 to lead Warren Central.
The second half was Warren Central on cruise control late but never dropping in intensity. Chris Porter-Bunton finished with 33, the largest point total of his career, and told Jason Martin in the postgame that he earned $100 from his father for scoring 30…a longstanding bet and one his father was proud to pay off. 103 points tonight, the highest of the year and triple digits remains incredibly impressive. Coach Unseld’s team has not lost a basketball game since January 4th and look to be set for the postseason. But first…another game Coach Unseld scheduled intentionally…on the road against John Hardin as a final test before the tournament next week. We’ll be there live for all the action at GoDragonNation.com.
