Dragons down Scotties.

By Jason Martin:

Warren Central came into Tuesday’s game with Glasgow on a five game winning streak and staring a five game district stretch directly in the face. It may have merely been the talent discrepancy, it may have been a statement, it may have just been their night, but whatever it was, it was a victory for the Dragons.

The first quarter ended 27-4 in favor of the Dragons, and 41-6 at the half. Jared Savage followed up his 34 point performance against Barren County with 9 in the first half, including a thunderous right handed jam. Chris Amos had ten at the break.

In the second half, Coach Unseld used his reserves, hopefully tuning them up for the battle against the Purples on Friday night at home. Two bright spots in the second unit, Darrell Bowman and Senior Ross Allen, both had eight points in the second half. When it was all said and done, Warren Central cruised to a dominant, never in doubt 66-16 victory. They play Bowling Green as the rivalry renews on Friday night. FINAL: WARREN CENTRAL 66, GLASGOW 16
