Raven Ennis, Barren County Junior

Named the Sporting Times’ 15th District Player of the Year, Raven Ennis led the Trojanettes in scoring and rebounding as they won the 15th District championship and reached the 4th Region championship game for a third-consecutive season. The junior averaged 16.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. She also hit 47 three-pointers and shot 76% from the free throw line.

Anzley Adwell, Glasgow Senior

Adwell helped the Lady Scotties back to the 4th Region Tournament for a fourth-straight season. The senior averaged 12.2 points and 8.4 rebounds, both best on the team. Adwell made 83 free throws and shot 65% from the line. In an early season win over Warren East, she scored 22 points and was 12-of-15 from the line.

Mia Cassady, Glasgow Sophomore

Mia Cassady had a breakout sophomore season. The guard averaged 10.1 points and led the 15th District with 51 made three-pointers. In a two-point loss in the opening round of the region tournament, Cassady hit all five of her three-point attempts to lead the Lady Scotties with 15 points.

Paisley Ford, Monroe County Sophomore

Paisley Ford led the Lady Falcons in scoring at 13.5 points, field goals made (80) and attempted (189), three-pointers made (23) and attempted 63), and free throws made (33). In a triple overtime loss to Russell County, Ford scored 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting with five three-pointers.

Allison Meador, Allen County-Scottsville Senior

Meador led the Lady Patriots in scoring at 13.4 points per game, while also grabbing 6.8 rebounds per contest. The senior led the team with 43 made threes at 31% and with 60 made free throws at 70%. Meador scored a season-high 28 points on five three-pointers against Edmonson County on January 25.

Gracie Veach, Monroe County

Gracie Veach was Monroe’s leading rebounder at 6.2 rebounds and second-leading scorer at 8.8 points per game. The junior forward shot 41% from the field and 67% from the free throw line as the Lady Falcons finished the season 9-9.
