Fant stands solid on his commitment

After losing head coach Bobby Petrino last week to Louisville, Nacarius Fant announced he was going to stand with his commitment to Western Kentucky. On his twitter, Fant  said, “It’s crazy how many times I’ve got the question about going to Louisville with Petrino or going somewhere else..I’m going to #WKU regardless.” The winner of the 2013 Mr. Football committed to WKU in early 2013, choosing to accept their offer over Illinois. Since Petrino resigned, Fant has thrown his support behind former offensive coordinator and new head coach Jeff Brohm, “I have tons of confidence in Coach Brohm to get the coaching staff he wants and needs to lead us to a bowl game next season,” Fant tweeted. Fant will look to continue his immense success that he had at Bowling Green High School while at WKU. After winning Mr. Football, Fant was named All-USA’s Offensive Player of the Year for Kentucky. Fant’s pass-catching abilities could have an instant impact in the Hilltoppers’ pass attack in 2014.
