Greenwood at Warren East Football 8/21/15

Gator Nation

Greenwood and Warren East came into this game pumped up for the season opener against a cross rival team. The story early and often was GW quarterback Jackson Adams and running back Noah Pillow (player of the game). They really controlled the tempo and dominated the WE defense. As a result, the first quarter saw the Gators in the lead 28-0. The second quarter was much of the same, as the GW defense held its’ ground and the offense led by Adams and Pillow continued to thrive; giving the Gators a 35-0 lead at the half. In the third quarter the Raiders defense finally had an answer for the offense, shutting it down to no points being added on. The Raiders offense finally got on the board, cutting the deficit to 35-6. The fourth quarter saw both WE and GW adding on another touchdown. The final favored the Gators, getting a nice road victory 42-12.
