Hornets look for Revenge against the Storm

Looking for their first win of the season, the Bowling Green Hornets traveled to Nashville to take on the Middle Tennessee Storm.  They would play this game without Maurice Hampton and Justin Taylor, who did not make the trip down to Music City.

_MG_6923It was a back and forth affair for much of the first half, but the Storm were able to knock down a couple extra three pointers to take a 57-52 lead into the half.  While the Hornets had several opportunities to come in this game and even take the lead, Middle Tennessee was able to keep their lead throughout the second half.  A nine point run late in the fourth quarter was enough to put the game out of reach, even with the last minute threes from Bowling Green.  The Hornets lost on the road 123-107 to start the season 0-3.  In the post game interview, Coach Thompson talked about the need to execute throughout an entire game, and it was their lack of execution that led to the loss tonight.
Will the Hornets right the ship at home next weekend?  Tune in to BGHornets.com on Saturday night to find out!
