Barren County selected Brad Johnson to coach after the resignation of Head Coach John Butler. Butler coached the Trojanettes to three state tournament appearances and multiple winning seasons throughout his 20 year coaching stint with Barren County.
Brad Johnson is an experience coach that has won 11 straight district titles with Grayson and Ohio County. He also has 3 region championships with Ohio County. For next season, The Trojanettes will only lose one senior, Rachel Fields, and returns a very speedy guard core with Deanie Pedigo and Kennedy Logsdon being a part of the starting lineup since their freshman year. Barren County also has a tall presence inside with Reana Poynter being one of the top scorers and rebounders on the team. With a strong last half of the season, Barren County could make it back to the regional tournament after a four year absence.
