Bowling Green, KY — Legacy Christian Academy senior girls basketball standout Rebekah Randolph officially signed to continue her athletic career at Brescia University during a signing ceremony held in the Legacy Christian Academy gym. She was surrounded by coaches, teammates, family and friends as she celebrated the next step in her basketball journey.

Randolph leaves a lasting legacy at Legacy Christian Academy, where she was a five-year starter for the girls basketball program. According to Legacy Athletic Director Shaun Cummings, Randolph is the school’s all-time leader in points, rebounds and blocked shots.

During her senior season, Randolph averaged 15.5 points, 11.2 rebounds and 3 blocks per game. Throughout her career at Legacy, she earned several honors, including Team MVP, KCAA Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team, KCAA All-State Tournament Team, KCAA Super-Regional All-Tournament Team and back-to-back KCAA All-State recognition.

“Rebekah is a selfless player, and that is the type of player we look for at Brescia,” said Brescia University Assistant Coach Preston Blanton. “That kind of approach is important to the success of our program. Her size and post presence will be big for us and will help Brescia compete in the River States Conference. She is willing to learn, and we feel like we can help develop her for long-term success.”
Legacy Christian Academy Head Coach Blake Austin said Randolph has been a key part of the program’s success.
“Rebekah has been an anchor for our team,” Austin said. “She is dominant down low, brings intensity to practice and does whatever it takes to help the team win. I’m excited for her future, and I know she will bring the same intensity to Brescia that she brought to Legacy.”
Randolph’s signing marks another proud moment for Legacy Christian Academy athletics and reflects the hard work, dedication and leadership she has shown throughout her career.
