Mark Perry steps down as Central Hardin head coach

Coming off a dream season in which the Bruins football team went 11-2, Central Hardin head coach Mark Perry stepped down to take the head coaching position at Lexington Catholic.

IMG_4053Perry, who assumed the Bruin’s coaching post in 2011 from former coach Mike Lawson, had a combined three year win-loss record of 23-14 and made a serious run at a state title in 6-A this season after going 11-12 in his first two years. Central Hardin  rolled up 483-points in 2013 and the next coach will most definitely have plenty to work with as most of the talent returns. Perry will only be the third head coach in Catholic’s 23-season history as he leaves one program in pretty good shape for the next guy as the high school coaching carousel continues.
