What’s been lost as the season has rolled on is that the Lady Purples are the reigning 4th Region Champs. Bowling Green began their title defense Tuesday night as they took on Greenwood. In their meetings this season, the Lady Purples have held a decisive advantage, winning by 30+ points each time.Bowling Green started off a little slow, but used the press to go on a 14 point run midway through the first quarter, and the Lady Purples were well on their way, leading 28-11 after one. Deija Moore knocked down 5 three pointers in the first half, and 7 total for the game, as Bowling Green cruised to the District Championship, winning 96-58! 5 Lady Purples ended up in double figures.
