On Again Off Again

A tale of turnovers and missed opportunities for the now 16-7 South Warren Lady Spartans.  Early in the game, BG made some threes but it was points off unforced errors that led them to a 17-6 lead at the end of the first period. SW would cut that lead to 4 and trail 27-20 at the intermission._MG_3332
In the third period, SW cut it back to four before going cold and again having trouble hanging on to the basketball.  In the end, Timitryi Patterson would lead the way with 10 for the Lady Spartans but the constant loose ball hustle of senior Rachel Garden, who dove to the floor on two separate occasions…made her the GoSpartanNation.com Player of the Game. She only scored two, but she was the driving force that held SW close until the final Lady Purples run to put it away.
South Warren travels to Greenwood on Friday, then to Warren East on Tuesday night.  This was their second loss in District…both have come at the hands of the Lady Purples.
