Glasgow Lady Scotties sophomore guard, Mia Cassady, threw up a desperation three at the end of the quarter, and banked it in to send it to quadruple overtime.

Freshman guard Kassady London, led the way for the Lady Hornets scoring 25 points, and went 10-11 from the free throw line, shot 7-10 from the field, and also had 4 steals. The Lady Scotties were led by senior guard, Anzley Adwell, who had 33 points, she also controlled the glass all night, grabbing 19 rebounds, and 3 steals.

“I could not be more proud of our girls,” Coach of the Lady Hornets, TJ Coffey said after the quadruple overtime thriller “They battled, they basically played two games tonight.” Obviously, in a four overtime game there are gonna be some players foul out, coach Coffeys team was on that end as well. Starting point guard Braelyn Davis, and Macy Welsh. Two very important players were not on the floor for the Lady Hornets at the end of the game. “We had two eighth graders on the floor at the end of the game, to get a win like that, I’m very happy.”

The Lady Scotties, were on the bad end of this quadruple overtime game. “We played extremely hard,” head coach of the Lady Scotties Craig Pippen said “We kept fighting back, we had players keep fouling out. We have to work on turnovers obviously and some things on defense, but overall I am pleased.” The first year head coach at Glasgow knows some of his girls are not comfortable with how he plays yet “This is a whole new system,so there are some girls you have to be careful with what you call offensively, because you know they dont know everything yet.”

The Lady Hornets will play the winner of The Monroe County Lady Falcons, and The Clinton County Lady Bulldogs for the 4th Region All “A” Classic championship. This game was postponed due to enclosed reasons, so there is no set date for this game to be played at this time.
