Raiders Put a W in the Win Column

The Warren East Raiders achieved their first win of the season, a 31-21 win over the Barren County Trojans at Jim Ross Field.

The scoring started early and often, Raiders’ QB Patrick Satterfield scored four total touchdowns, three rushing and one 70-yard punt return for a touchdown.

Raider running back Willie Reynolds was the other star, he ran for 152 yards and a late touchdown in the third quarter.
After giving up 14 points in the fourth quarter, the Raider defense pitched a shut out, the only other points coming from an offensive fumble in the third quarter.

The win snapped a five game losing streak for the Raiders as they advanced to 1-5 on the season. They will play their third game in a row at home next week against Allen County Scottsville.
