Five games, 10 teams and 533 points.
All of those made an appearance on the floor at Bowling Green High School over the afternoon and evening on Saturday, where the inaugural 14th/15th District Challenge was held.
After nearly 10 hours of endless basketball action, the 15th District finished 3-2 in the tournament through five games (since the 14th District has five teams, Russell County represented the fifth team for the 15th District).
Allen County-Scottsville (1-1) 64, Warren Central (0-3) 38
Though the two teams were knotted at 16-16 after halftime, ACS outscored Central 24-10 and 24-12 in the third and fourth quarters, respectively.
The scoring was led by a career-high 37 points from Murray State commit Sarah Sutton, who also pulled down 11 rebounds to complete her double-double performance.
Playing without senior guard Jaylee Woods, Taylor Carter was forced to step up into a larger role for the Lady Patriots, scoring a career-high 16 points.
Warren Central was led by 12 points from La Aunhni Lewis and 10 points from Krissy Johnson.
Allen County-Scottsville will be back at home to host Bowling Green on Tuesday at 6:00 pm while Warren Central visits Caverna on Monday at 7:00 pm.

Russell County (2-0) 62, Warren East (0-4) 54
Warren East jumped out to an early 17-12 lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Lady Lakers used an 18-9 second quarter to take a 30-26 lead at the half.
A 20-11 third quarter swelled Russell County’s lead to 50-37, but the Lady Raiders fought back with another 17-12 quarter, but it wasn’t enough.
Juliah Bault scored 20 points to lead the Lady Lakers while Star Marcum and Jaylen Elmore each added 10 points. Addison Loy only scored seven points but did reach the 1,000-point mark for her career.
Lucy Patterson had 15 points to lead the scoring for Warren East. Hailey Hymer tacked on 13 points while Caroline Forrester added 11.
Russell County returns home to face Greenwood on Tuesday at 6:00 pm while Warren East hosts Russellville at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.

Barren County (3-0) 61, Greenwood (0-2) 36
Barren County continued its dominant season with a consistent performance in its 61-36 win over Greenwood.
Elizabeth Bertram – as always – got her points as she led the Trojanettes with 20 points and five rebounds, which was tied for a team high.
After losing dominant center McKenzie England on the opening tip, Eve Jackson stepped into the senior’s role, scoring 14 points to finish second for Barren County. Mallory Pedigo added 12 points for the Trojanettes.
Jacqueline Jackson led all scorers with 21 points for the Lady Gators while Carly Miller added eight.
Barren County is off until Friday, when it travels to take on Monroe County at 6:00 pm in Tompkinsville to open up 15th District play. Greenwood hits the road to play Russell County at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.

South Warren (2-1) 79, Monroe County (1-2) 63
Monroe County had South Warren against the wall when it trailed the Lady Spartans 49-40 after the third quarter.
However, the Lady Spartans exploded for a 30-point fourth quarter to pull away and conserve a 79-63 win.
Natalie Pierce put up another dominant performance with 25 points, leading all scorers. Brooke Stevenson added 18 points for the Lady Spartans while Olivia Steele tallied 14.
Grace Turner led Monroe County with 19 points in the losing effort. Paisley Ford added 14 points for the Lady Falcons.
South Warren returns home to host Franklin-Simpson on Tuesday at 6:00 pm. Monroe County hosts Clinton County on Tuesday at 6:00 pm.

Bowling Green (1-1) 49, Glasgow (2-1) 27
In a defensive slugfest, Bowling Green jumped ahead on Glasgow early and grinded its way to a 49-27 win over the Lady Scotties on its home floor.
Bowling Green’s scoring was led by Keyozdon Jones, who scored 12 points.
Anzley Adwell had eight points to lead Glasgow while KJ Hughes added seven points.
Bowling Green will travel to face Allen County-Scottsville on Tuesday at 6:00 pm while Glasgow returns home to host Russell County on Friday at 6:00 pm.
