The Sporting Times is excited to announce that Scott Thompson is joining the ST Team! Scott will be Broadcasting Play by Play for the new “Great 28” STBNTV Sports Channel.
Scott has had an outstanding career in radio beginning in 1979 and broadcasting his first high school game in 1982. Scott was the first broadcaster in Bowling Green to air a Girls High School regular season, district and state tournament games.
Scott worked on WKU Football, Baseball, Basketball and softball broadcast since 1983, as well as hosting Lady Topper Highlights TV Show with Coach Paul Sanderford 1985-86.
Scott has worked KHSAA State Championship Broadcasts since 2001 including football, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, and softball.
Scott has also filled in play by play on Iowa and Duke Women’s Basketball Networks and has done work on minor league Basketball (CBA) broadcast.
In 2016, Scott was recognized by KHSAA receiving the KABC Lifetime Media Achievement Award.
