The Sporting Times is happy to welcome Clay Manlove on to the staff as a prep sports writer and insider. A native of Henderson, Kentucky, Clay is currently a freshman at Western Kentucky University seeking a degree in journalism with a minor in marketing. Clay graduated from Henderson County High School in 2016, where he played football for the Colonels, which sparked his love for the high school sports scene. Clay has written stories for his local newspaper and looks to someday get a job as a sports writer or editor at a newspaper.
