It was all Warren Central to start the game as they forced turnover after turnover to lead 24-15 after the 1st. Chris Porter-Bunton and Byron carver used their height and athleticism to get the scoring rolling and that train never stopped. The 2nd quarter was more of the same as Green and Caldwell got into the act scoring 6 apiece in the first half. The Dragons led 46-28 at halftime and the only bad spot for them was a few turnovers of their own and foul trouble for Carver and Robert Edwards.
CPB got the second half started off right with 6 straight points and the Dragons were running. Central finished the game with 3 players in double figures including Rondell Green & Jared Savage who finished with 11 and 15 respectively. Russellville wanted to play a fast paced game which played right into the hands and led to a 96-62 victory over the panthers.
