D.G. Sherrill – Head Coach
Purples Basketball
“We were here last year and probably had the better team, and the locker room was really down. I told our guys tonight, cause a lot of these guys played in that game, when the game gets hard tonight remember that locker room. Remember that feeling. Remember you’ve got to be better than them every possession. You’ve got to play hard in every possession,” said Purples head coach D.G. Sherrill. “Listen, hats off to Clinton County. I watched them on film, and I worried all night how we were going to guard them and we struggled to guard them. They’re a fabulous basketball team. We beat probably the best team we played this year hands down, so hats off to them. Just a proud moment.“
