The Year in PHOTOS! Girls Basketball

THE YEAR IN PHOTOS! GIRLS BASKETBALL

It was quite a year in Girls Basketball! There was a new champion crowned in the 5th Region as for so many years, Nelson County had fought so hard, but always came up short in the end. This time however NOTHING was going to stop them including a coaching change at mid-season as longtime guy Kelly Wood made way for Jacqueline Coleman to take the Lady Cardinals to the promise land. In the 3rd Region, there was also a change as Grayson County FINALLY found the winning way, but not until a classic Battle with Region Rival Breckinridge County and star guard Grace White played her first (not to be her last) on the Northern Kentucky University Floor as she is currently roaming the floor there. Yes. It was truly a Year of CHANGE!

THE BIG THREE! Baylee Harney – Allyson Niece – Shelby Harmeyer were an unbeatable trio for Simon Kenton last season.
