South Warren High School – Volleyball

South Warren High School senior Zoie Elrod exemplifies what it means to be a true scholar-athlete—balancing elite athletic performance, exceptional academic achievement, and meaningful leadership within her school community.

A standout on the volleyball court, Zoie delivered a historic season for the Lady Spartans, setting a new school record with more than 500 kills. Her relentless work ethic, competitive drive, and leadership made her one of the most dominant players in the region. Beyond volleyball, she is also a multi-sport athlete, competing in Track & Field, where she has set multiple school recordsin both the High Jump and Hurdles. Her consistency and excellence have earned her numerous accolades, including:

Despite excelling across two demanding sports, Zoie maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA, demonstrating both discipline and commitment in the classroom. She is a 5× Kentucky First Team Academic All-State recipient—an honor that speaks to her exceptional academic consistency.

Future Plans

After graduation, Zoie plans to attend Trevecca Nazarene University, where she will continue her volleyball career and pursue a degree in Exercise Science.
