Fresh off a win over Allen County Scottsville, Bowling Green took the road Tuesday taking on Muhlenberg County. It all about pressure D and transition baskets for the Purples early, as they did not allow a field goal by the Mustangs until 2 minutes left in the first quarter.
Nacarius Fant scored 16 points in the first half, punctuated by a near half court shot at the buzzer to put the Purples up 40-19 at the half.
Bowling Green was able to cruise for most of the second half, and held on for the win 65-52.
